You use your basement as storage. A workshop. Or perhaps you’ve turned it into another room. Whatever its primary purpose, you should never have to tolerate leaks and resulting water damage.

To help keep your basement dry, Penning offer can install a sump pump and/or back-up sump. Here’s how they work:

• The sump pump is installed at the lowest level of your basement, so as water enters, the pump begins working;
• Water is forced up and out of your basement as soon as it reaches the pump drain;
• Also, many pumps shut off automatically when the drain is free of water.
